Human experts build their knowledge and expertise on top of prior understanding. Humans need to know a particular concept before they can fully understand another. Books, documents and computers do not work in this way. For instance, if I claim to be an expert chess player, then you can safely assume that I must know the legal moves that chess pieces can make on a chess board. I could not be an expert chess player without this prior knowledge. This organisational framework is the structure that is used to construct the maps. I call it Learning Dependency.
